Women of Fire

Your Time Is Here

“And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

The fire is purification, illumination, spiritual power and transformation. It is the fire that reveals what is true, refines what is precious, and prepares us for the work ahead.

We gather not merely to be inspired, but to be strengthened, refined, united, and prepared to build.

Five classes

  1. True Discernment

    Seeing Beyond Appearances

Developing the spiritual discernment to recognize truth, understand hearts, and know the traditions of men from the principles of God. Women who discern with truth, wisdom and grace become powerful instruments in the hands of God.

“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

    John 7:24

    Also: Moroni 7:16–19

  2. Joy in the Journey

    The Beauty of Becoming

The joy of womanhood, our divine gifts, and the beautiful process of becoming: peace, gratitude, confidence, laughter and purpose in every season of life. Joy is not something we must wait for until everything is perfect.

“Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.”

    2 Nephi 2:25

    Also: John 15:11 · Proverbs 31:25

  3. Priesthood

    Women of Power and Purpose

Women's place in the Holy Order, their spiritual authority, their covenant responsibilities, and their essential part in building Zion. Divine power is not about position or recognition. Its purpose is to serve, strengthen, redeem, and build.

“The rights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and … the powers of heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the principles of righteousness.”

    D&C 121:36

    Also: Acts 2:17–18 · 1 Peter 2:9

  4. Hard Is Not the Same as Bad

    Refined, Not Destroyed

Difficulty is not necessarily failure, discomfort does not always mean danger, and opposition can become the very means of our growth. A woman of fire does not have to become hard to be strong.

“The trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire …”

    1 Peter 1:7

    Also: Isaiah 48:10 · James 1:2–4

  5. Overcoming Shadows

    Walking Fully in the Light

Confronting the fears, wounds, false beliefs and patterns that obscure our divine identity, so we can walk more fully in the light of Christ. The purpose is freedom, healing, repentance, truth and transformation.

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

    John 1:5

    Also: Ether 12:27 · D&C 50:24

Becoming a True Servant

Women of Fire is about becoming women who embody the character of Christ: women who discern with wisdom, find joy in becoming, understand their divine responsibilities, embrace the refining process, and overcome what has kept them from walking fully in the light.

Women who are gentle and courageous. Nurturing and discerning. Who speak truth and extend grace. Confident in their identity and humble in their service, knowing their voices, gifts, wisdom and spiritual power are essential to the establishment of Zion.

This is a time to gather. A time to grow. A time to be refined. A time to arise. Not because every woman has already become everything she is called to be, but because the time to become is now.

“If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.”

Mark 9:35

About this gathering

After the men's retreats and the general gatherings, the time has finally come for the women to gather: a retreat dedicated to our divine identity, our spiritual gifts, our covenant responsibilities, and our essential place in the work of Zion. This is a gathering women have been waiting for.

Throughout scripture, women were called to stand in extraordinary moments: women of discernment, courage, faith, wisdom and spiritual power. Women who nurtured and protected, who prophesied and ministered, who stood in truth when others would not, and whose works helped prepare the way for God's purposes.

Women of Fire: Your Time Is Here is an invitation to awaken, be refined, and arise in the fullness of our covenant responsibilities. It is about more than recognizing our divine identity. It is about living it.

Come on your own, with a sister or a friend, or with your daughter (16 and older). Can't stay the weekend? A Saturday day pass brings you in for Saturday's classes and meals.

Arriving: Check-in is Thursday evening between 5 and 6 PM. March roads into Bear Lake can still turn wintry: check road conditions before you leave, and if the roads close, come as soon as they open. The house address is shared with registered guests before the retreat.

Questions

Before you book.

A few of the questions we are asked most.

When and how do I pay?

Registering and paying are one motion. The form hands you straight to the checkout page when you finish, and a confirmation email with the same payment link follows in case something interrupts you. Your place is held while you pay and confirmed once the payment is in; each gathering's page says how long the hold lasts.

Can I register my family or a friend?

It depends on the bed. Most beds are one person, one registration: each person fills the form with their own name and email and pays for their own bed, which is also how each of them gets their own confirmation and their own place on the rooming list. A suite is the exception — one registration and one payment covers everyone sharing it, and you add each person by name on the form. Either way, tell us at registration who you would like to be near and we will do what we can.

What if my plans change?

Open your registration with the same email and update it any time before the gathering. If you cannot come, email april@zionstreaming.com. Ask within 30 days of the day you paid and at least seven full days before the gathering begins, and you are refunded in full. After that a refund is at our discretion, and you can always transfer your place at no charge. Full policy: theziongathering.com/refunds.

Where will I sleep?

Gatherings are in large private homes, and we cannot guarantee specific spots. Beds are first come, first served. We do our best to accommodate anyone who needs a ground-floor room or a bottom bunk, where possible.

What should I bring?

Bedding and towels are provided. Bring a pillow from home, your scriptures, comfortable clothes for the outdoors, and anything you need for the night.
