Terms and Conditions

By using this website or registering for a gathering you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. “We” means The Zion Gathering, brought to you by Zion Media.

Registering

• Your place is confirmed when your payment is received through our payment provider. Until then it is a request.
• Prices are per person unless the option says otherwise, and each option says what it includes. Travel to the gathering is not included unless stated.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give, including for anyone you register with you, and you confirm you have their permission to share their details with us.
• Some gatherings are for a specific audience (for example, a gathering for men) or have age guidance. Please check the gathering page before you register. Minors attend only with a registered parent or guardian.
• Places are limited. When a gathering is full we may offer a waiting list.

Lodging and rooms

Most gatherings take place in a shared house. Rooms and beds are arranged by the team using the details you give (gender, age, sleeping needs, who you would like to room with). We do our best with every request, but we cannot guarantee any particular arrangement; beds are first come, first served. The property’s own house rules apply while you are there, and you are responsible for any damage you or your party cause.

Being there

Treat the house, the hosts, the team and each other with respect. We may ask anyone who endangers or seriously disrupts the gathering to leave, without a refund.

Your health and safety

You take part in the gathering, its activities and any travel at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own health and any medical needs. Tell us in advance about anything we should know; the team running the gathering sees it. Some gatherings ask you to accept an additional agreement when you register; where they do, it forms part of these terms. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from a gathering is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Changes and cancellation by us

Speakers, the schedule and activities may change. If we have to change the dates or the venue in a way that matters, you may withdraw for a full refund of what you paid us. If we cancel a gathering, you receive a full refund of what you paid us. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you incurred on your own.

Cancellation by you

A refund is yours if you ask for it within 30 days of the day you paid and at least seven full days before the gathering begins. Both have to be true, so a late registration is limited by the week rather than the 30 days. After either deadline a refund is at our discretion, not an obligation. The Refund Policy has the details, the worked examples and how to transfer your place to someone else.

Photos and video

Gatherings may be photographed and recorded. When you register there is an optional box, unticked to begin with, that lets Zion Media use photos and video of you (and of the minors you register) from the gathering in its channels and materials. If you leave it unticked we leave you out where we can, and minors are treated as no unless a parent or guardian ticks it. You can change your answer any time on your account page, or tell a member of the team at check-in.

Messages from us

By registering you agree to receive emails about your registration and your gathering. Text messages are sent only if you ticked the box asking for them. Consent is not required to register; reply STOP to any text to end them.

This website

The words, images and design on theziongathering.com belong to Zion Media or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written consent. We try to keep everything here accurate but cannot promise it always is; gathering details are confirmed in your registration email. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Frequent Flyer memberships

Memberships bought through the Frequent Flyer page are governed by the terms shown there and confirmed at purchase, in addition to these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking with us, it will be brought in the courts of Utah.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; the terms in force when you registered apply to that registration.
