Four days of worship, scripture study, and fellowship in Nauvoo. A Solemn Assembly at Nauvoo Kirche, with time to visit Nauvoo or Adam-ondi-Ahman.
View the itinerary
Gather in Nauvoo for shared meals, morning scripture study, teaching, and worship. The Solemn Assembly takes place at Nauvoo Kirche on Sunday evening. Monday leaves time for sightseeing in Nauvoo or a visit to Adam-ondi-Ahman before the closing ceremony.
We have reserved a private estate in Nauvoo and the historic Nauvoo Kirche for September 19 through 22, and we are gathering during Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the biblical calendar, on the anniversary of Moroni's first visit to Joseph Smith. These dates were chosen with intention. This is a Solemn Assembly, set apart from our other gatherings in its purpose and its tone. We are coming together to cry repentance for the inhabitants of the earth, to prepare for what is coming, and to seek the Lord together as a remnant community in one of the most significant locations in Latter-day Saint history.
Arrival, worship, study, fellowship, and solemn assembly. Gather in faith. Depart in witness.
